Julie has over 18 years experience in web design and web editing. She began her career as a graduate of California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) with a degree in English and Technical Writing. This led her to a job as part of the technical writing team at Hewlett-Packard (HP) in Roseville, CA. It was during her job with HP that Julie learned the exciting skills of web design. Julie quickly discovered that not only did she enjoy writing instructions for software, but she absolutely loved creating websites. Julie later obtained her Web Development Certificate from Sacramento State University. Over the years she has worked as both an independent contractor and employee in the fields of web design, online marketing and technical writing; she is also an experienced technology trainer and desktop publisher.
